Step 3 · Accept a quote
Choose your mechanic
Review the agreement, choose a quote, and confirm the visit with your selected mechanic. Acceptance creates the job you'll follow through the repair.

Review the agreement once more
Before accepting, check the vehicle, proposed work, amount, estimated completion, and service arrangement. Read the warranty notes and payment information. Make sure the quote you are choosing is the one you intend to accept.
If the quote covers an inspection, understand that starting point. Agreeing to assess a symptom does not mean every possible repair is included in the price.
Understand what acceptance changes
Accepting a quote creates a tracked repair job and opens messaging with the selected mechanic. Review the deposit due at acceptance and the final balance due when the mechanic records completion.
Your chosen mechanic can then see the owner details needed for the job, including the exact service address where provided. Keep any further information you share relevant to the visit.
Confirm the visit
Use the job conversation to settle the practical arrangements. A preferred date in a request is not, by itself, a confirmed appointment. Agree on the details before making plans around the visit.
- Confirm where and when the service will take place.
- Ask whether the mechanic needs anything before inspection or repair begins.
- Agree on when to expect the next update.
Keep changes explicit
If inspection changes the recommendation, discuss the new work, cost, and estimated completion before agreeing to it. Keep the explanation and your decision in the job conversation.
If your own plans change, tell the mechanic promptly. Read the job's cancellation or support information before confirming an action; the available options depend on its stage.
