Step 1 · Post a request
Describe your car problem
Tell mechanics what has changed, when you notice it, and what service you need. Add your vehicle details and useful photos to complete the picture.

Start with the symptom
You don't need to know which part has failed to ask for help. Describe what your car is doing: a new noise, a warning light, a starting problem, or something else that has changed. If you're arranging maintenance, name the service you want.
Add when it began and how often it happens. A noise heard once on a cold morning gives a mechanic different information from one you notice every day. Stick to what you've observed; you don't need to reproduce a fault to document it.
Include the useful history
Enter the vehicle details requested in the app, then mention recent work or an earlier inspection that may be relevant. Distinguish a repair that was completed from one that was only recommended.
A photo can help explain a visible concern or dashboard message. Take it only when safe, and leave out personal documents, payment details, and unrelated people. Photos give context; the mechanic may still need to inspect the car before identifying the cause.
Say what kind of visit you need
Include your service area, preferred timing, and service preference where offered. A shop visit and mobile service require different arrangements. These details help mechanics judge whether the request fits their services and availability.
Posting a request is free. Approved mechanics can review it and decide whether to quote; responses depend on the work and who is participating in your area.
Check it before you post
Read the request once for accuracy. Your name and exact service address stay hidden from mechanics until you accept a quote, but details you put in the description or photos can still identify you.
Once quotes arrive, compare the work, price, and estimated completion. If you need urgent roadside or emergency assistance, use the appropriate service rather than waiting for a marketplace response.
