A record you can return to

Weeks after a repair, a simple question can be surprisingly hard to answer. Which work did the quote cover? Was that part replaced, or was replacement only recommended? What did the mechanic say about the remaining concern?

FixMyWhip connects the repair request, accepted quote, conversation, and job updates. Each tells a different part of the story: what you noticed, what was proposed, what was discussed, and how the job progressed.

Keep decisions as well as findings

A useful history distinguishes a recommendation from work that actually went ahead. If additional work was discussed and deferred, keep the decision clear. The same applies when the amount or completion estimate changes.

That distinction helps at a later visit and when asking for support. You can point to the agreed work and the result, with the relevant explanation and response beside them. A record gives context for a review; it does not determine the outcome of a complaint.

Keep the rest of the paperwork too

Save separate invoices, warranty terms, and maintenance recommendations with your other vehicle documents. Work performed outside FixMyWhip may not appear in the app.

Treat the job record as one useful part of your service history. When the car next needs attention, you can explain previous work more accurately and distinguish what was completed from what may still need assessment.
