Choose a service that fits your day
Consider where the work will happen and how you'll manage the visit. Compare shop and mobile options where offered, alongside the repair itself.

Think through the whole visit
A repair has to fit around the rest of your day. Leaving the car at a shop may mean arranging a lift, changing a work shift, or finding another way to collect children. Those practical details belong in the decision.
Include your service area, preferred timing, and service preference in the request. Mechanics can then consider the work and the arrangement together. A preference helps explain your needs; it is not a confirmed booking.
Match the location to the work
Where offered, mobile service may change how you arrange access to the vehicle. A shop visit may be necessary for work that needs particular facilities or equipment. Not every mechanic or repair offers both options.
Read the service information in the profile and quote. Consider where the car would need to be, how you would get there and back, and what you would do if the estimate changes. Price is easier to assess once you understand that practical plan.
Confirm the arrangement after acceptance
Accepting a quote creates the job and opens messaging with your chosen mechanic. Use that conversation to confirm the location, appointment arrangements, and any preparation needed.
If you need the car by a particular time, raise it explicitly. Estimated completion may change after inspection or because of parts. Agree on when to expect an update, so you know when to revisit your transport plans.
